 I love shooting outside, in the elements. placing you in a natural element. But you can also find me sometimes in a studio. Using a flash or continuous light is not new for me. What I don't know, I try to learn out of workshops, masterclasses, or online training. 

I can also shoot underwater. I'm fully equiped with underwater photography gear. I also have my PADI diving qualification, so I can go diving with you as well. I think I can tell you that you'll find not much photographers who can say that.

Ik hou van buiten fotograferen, in de elementen, werken met het licht dat je aangereikt krijgt, jouw in een natuurlijk element plaatsen. Maar ook werk ik af en toe wel in een studio. Fotograferen met continue licht of flitslicht is niet nieuw voor me. Wat ik niet weet of beheers, probeer ik me wel aan te leren door het volgen van trainingen, workshops, masterclasses etc. 

Ik fotografeer ook in en onder water. Ik ben volledig uitgerust om onder water te fotograferen. Met camera en snorkel kan ik je op een erg bijzondere manier vastleggen, je hoeft echt geen meter onder water te zijn voor de mooiste resultaten.  Er zijn niet veel fotografen die waterfotografie beheersen of kunnen.

You want to do more with your camera than you are doing now. You are at the level where you know that your camera has multiple functions, but you do not know exactly what to use for what. You have heard terms like iso, shutter speed, aperture, light metering but all you do is obediently nod yes and amen. Afraid to shoot with multiple people, or do you want full attention, by going out with me we are with max 4 people on the road at the same time, flexible together. Not ready every Wednesday at a quarter to 8, but when it suits us best together. After the 1st evening, we plan the date for the next evening. In 4 times an hour and a half you are guaranteed to feel more comfortable with a camera in your hand. You know what to do to make your photos even more beautiful. You go from ordinary to extraordinary.

I love being outdoors to photograph. With my camera 'on the hunt' I'm not a birdphotographer who goes for the specials, or the realy rare species. I'm more into artistic photography of the ordinary, how special the normal is.  I'm loving being creative of the birds I meet daily.

For me, surfing is freedom. I have done my best to show surfing, freedom in this selection of photos. Enjoying the water, with friends, camera, strangers but like-minded people. Clearing your head, being one with nature and the elements.
